A couple weeks ago on Bringing Up Bates"The Great Bates Clean-Up," the entire Bates clan gathered 'round to purge the house of junk and unused items.
The indoor project didn't go quite as well as Kelly Jo had hoped. While some of the family members surrendered a lot of clothes and other belongings, some refused to part with any.
After the kids had had enough cleaning, Kelly tried to convince Gil to reorganize the shed, but the Bates dad decided that they would be biting off more than they could chew with such a task. Carlin told her dad that the only way to take care of the situation would be to light a match.
Later, the kids redeemed themselves by pitching in to beautify the front yard. What do you think?
